Angelo will be showing a new body of work in an old and traditional style. Using techniques by the Dutch of the 17th and 18th Centuries, Angelo has created images of Moa and their Hunters, character’s from legend and Geothermal landscapes as old as New Zealand itself. Rich glazing and an eye for detail, these lustrous paintings are a shear delight.

About Angelo
After years of studying figurative painting and winning several awards for his portraiture studies, Angelo is now established as a figurative artist. Angelo has painted professionally for many years and his works are included in many private collections throughout New Zealand and overseas.

Angelo resides in Wellington, working at his home studio. He works in oils bringing out the beauty and passion from the live models he uses. Though his style reflects both the traditional and contemporary, it comes together in a unique way he calls his own.
